Seven Years in Captivity!

I write about these and other experiences as a modern Christian Martyr and persecuted clergyman, who has no family, and am on my own, now passing middle-age, dealing with things by faith and by spiritual revelation by seeing actual Scripture come alive in my life as I relive so many things written as other people's spiritual lives and experiences in the Faith, so many years and centuries before me!

I read the Bible and Christian History and the Lives of the Church Saints, reading Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant, and even Pentecostal and Evangelical historiesÂ… Church History from all the angles as it were; and reliving some of those things in my own personal experiences, as well as even personally experiencing the miraculous and the supernatural aspects of the Jewish and Christian Faith(s) that others so long ago before me experienced and walked with God through too!

The writer of Hebrews tells us that we have 'a great cloud of witnesses' watching us from the Heaven side or spiritual dimension where God dwells, who have all gone through many of the same things that we are going through now, and not only are they watching from the other side, having already past all the tests and trials that we are going through now, and they, along with us and the very angels in Heaven are rooting for and praying for, as well as cheering for our success as God-persons as well!

And as a preacher, I preach from the Bible which is God's Word mixed with people's experiences knowing Him and walking with Him or denying Him or failing Him; and now my own life and my own experiences, like those that went before me, has become preaching material(s) as well! –Father St. John of the Cross, A Modern Christian Martyr!
